Step-by-Step Guide

Heat oil in a pan and add the tempering mix from the pack.
Add the tomatoes, onions, and garlic and cook on medium heat for 5–6 minutes until softened.
Add the red chilli and tamarind. Stir well.
Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes are mushy and the mixture thickens.
Blend to a coarse or smooth paste as preferred. Serve warm or at room temperature.
